Emirates Hotels & Resorts Web Site
One of the world's top airlines, Emirates, brought its outstanding service standards to the hotel industry with the launch of Emirates Hotels & Resorts. Featuring luxury accommodation and facilities, the new hotels and serviced apartments required a flexible web site that could drive immediate revenues and scale with the business.

Ion Global developed a user-centric web site that showcases the evolving Emirates Hotels & Resorts brand and each hotel's individuality. User experience is the heart of this new site - AJAX technology allowed for a seamless experience, from previewing room availability to an easy-to-use online booking system.

With an information architecture designed to last five years and onwards, the web site is sufficiently robust to accommodate future developments and business changes. Since the site launched before the completion of several of the properties, one challenge lay in depicting each property sufficiently vividly and distinctively in order to attract advance bookings.

The site integrates with the Tridion content management system, the Protel reservation engine and Omniture SiteCatalyst.
