Kasbah is one of Hong Kong's most elaborate and immersive restaurants. The music, decor, food and service transport diners to an exotic locale. Despite the obvious appeal of place, the owner had never actively marketed the restaurant and replied on word of mouth to bring in patrons.
A one-page listing on a "yellow pages" style restaurant site had yielded some online reservations, but the restaurant was invisible to search engine traffic.
The team intentionally chose to target broadband users and was able to incorporate rich visuals and music provided by Kasbah. Ion Global's photographers captured the intricacies of the artwork while a copywriter ploughed research materials to produce copy of adequate length and which would suit local audiences.
Online reservations are logged for future reference and forwarded to front desk staff. Continuous search engine optimization is ongoing.
