Content Manager, Hong Kong
You will report to senior management, and work on award-winning web sites and online applications for local and international clients.
You will manage the textual content of all our client applications.
- Develop content from print materials and other source materials to match project requirements.
- Migrate content from existing sources using software tools.
- Edit content to achieve a web-friendly style.
- Write, edit and proofread textual content.
- Coordinate content tasks with Project Managers.
- Manage freelance copywriters and translators.
- Create copy style guides.
- Educate and evangelize on best practices, internally and externally.
- Be a partner to clients in their own organizations, helping them achieve their desired objectives.
- Serve as a role model for colleagues and clients in terms of passion, excellence, communication, professionalism and creativity.
- Contribute to the success and growth of Ion Global, in particular by achieving exceptional levels of client satisfaction and profitability.
You must possess all of the following:
- Ability to write, edit and proofread in English and Traditional Chinese.
- Familiarity with internet technologies, including search engine optimisation.
- Journalism degree with around 4 years' experience.
- Persuasion, negotiation and presentation skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to assume responsibility and work under pressure.
- Desire and ability to exceed client expectations and grow Ion Global.
