You will report to the Scripting Manager and work on award-winning web sites and online applications for local and international clients.
You will work with various clients and their teams to define the goals, requirements, structure, navigation and functionality of effective and engaging user interactions.
- Design and develop attractive, user-friendly and technically sound user interfaces using graphics software, HTML/DHTML and Flash.
- Perform creative and technical analysis of client requirements and thorough debugging of user interfaces.
- Perform quality assurance checks on colleagues' programs.
- Coordinate with team members in development projects.
- Ability to expand creative horizons and learn new technologies to contribute to the success of Ion Global.
You must possess all of the following:
- A Diploma or above in relevant disciplines.
- Competent knowledge of Photoshop, hand-coded HTML/DHTML, XML, JavaScript, Illustrator and Flash.
- At least 2 years web design experience working on international brands.
- In-depth knowledge of some of the following: ASP/ASP.NET, C#, JSP, Java, VB/VBScript, XSLT, DOM.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Cantonese.
- Good teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong leadership and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver on deadlines.
- Mature candidates possessing all these skills in addition to organization and presentation skills can expect to grow towards project management or other senior roles.
