Marketing Engineer, Hong Kong
You will report to the Marketing Manager and work on award-winning web sites and online applications for local and international clients.
You will work with various clients and their teams to define and deliver effective and engaging online applications, on time and to the requisite level of quality.
- Assist in building search engine friendly web sites.
- Perform and maintain search engine optimization ("SEO") for client web sites and manage search engine marketing services such as pay per click and related paid internet listings.
- Perform copywriting for client web sites and online marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate company-wide activities.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, contracts and case studies in English.
- Measure and analyze statistics for client web sites and campaigns.
- Assist Marketing Executives in promoting SEO and search engine management services.
You must possess all of the following:
- A Degree or above in relevant disciplines.
- Familiarity with e-mail marketing and other online marketing techniques.
- Proficiency in SEO techniques and continuing knowledge of the latest trends in SEO marketing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Adobe Photoshop 6.0 or later.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as PHP, ASP, C#, Cold Fusion and JSP.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as VBScript, JScript, Python, Perl and ActionScript.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Cantonese.
- Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently with strong time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver on deadlines.
