Ion Global to Present at IQPC's 10th Annual Website Globalization Conference, March 22-24, 2004 in San Francisco
27 January 2004, San Francisco - Ion Global, Asia's leading integrated e-business solutions firm and wholly owned subsidiary of chinadotcom corporation (NASDAQ: CHINA), announces its participation in IQPC's  10th Annual Website Globalization Conference in San Francisco from March 22-24, 2004.
San Francisco Managing Director Wei-Tai Kwok will chair the conference and deliver opening remarks on "Ten Years of Web Globalization: But Are We Any Smarter Than a 10-Year Old?" Globalization Strategy Manager Simon Mathews will deliver a presentation that gives insights on "Reducing Chaos in the Publishing of Global Sites." Areas the presentation will cover include: how to maximize the efficiency of your global web publishing system; who should 'own' what content; how to deal with small sites in one country, large sites in another; how to get everyone around the world to agree to a common web publishing model; and what are the CMS and other systems needed to make it happen.
The opening address will be given by Dr. Mark Davis, Chief Globalization Architect, IBM and President of the Unicode Consortium.
