Web-based Touch Screen Kiosks Direct Traffic at ifc
Today we deployed a redesigned touch screen kiosk interface for ifc mall, the number one living and entertainment mega structure in Hong Kong housing over 200 international brands.
Derived from the look-and-feel and content of the ifc web site built by Ion Global in 2004, the new touch screen kiosk interface will serve as a valuable component in the mall's branding and customer service efforts. Ion Global's expertise in user interface design and usability, combined with research on other kiosks in Hong Kong led to a new design that significantly improves the usefulness of the kiosks for ifc's patrons. The new system will alleviate the workload of concierge staff and create a lasting impression on those seeking to find their way around the leisure complex.
Content is easily updated by staff through the ifc web site's content management system and significantly reduces the time spent in adding new shops to the directory.
The newly designed kiosks can now be seen in ifc mall located at 8 Finance Street, Central, Hong Kong.
