Ion Global Drives Asia's Best Photographer's Site
Ion Global and Hong Kong-based photographer Graham Uden have combined to produce an award-winning web site to promote Graham's work. The site, grahamuden.com  , won a Bronze at the Asia Interactive Awards . This is the first time the Awards have been held, and is Ion Global's first entry.
The award-winning site is built completely in Flash, and incorporates an in-context drag-and-drop interface for Graham to manage his portfolio. Jim Fong, our Art Director, said, "Graham was keen have a small site that showcased some of his vast body of work, and that was easy for him to update as often as possible. Another small, but useful, addition to the site was the little 'Graham is' tag under his name title. Since he travels a lot, instead of leaving messages on his phone or sending unanswered e-mails, we developed a little place where Graham could tell you where he was, and what he was up to...when he was willing to share that!"
Styling was another simple decision. Graham was keen to keep things, clean, simple, quick and elegant hence the use of white space and background loading to keep the experience as fluid as possible.
Graham himself demonstrated humility and restraint when he learned of the win, saying, "Well done boyz!!!!!!!! Great news......" Now we just need to figure out how to get that Gold award next year.
