Ion Global to lead workshop at IQPC Web Site Globalization in Barcelona, September 18-20, 2007
Wei-Tai Kwok, Managing Director of Ion Global San Francisco, will be a key presenter for two events at the annual Web Site Globalization conference, to be held from September 18-20, 2007 in Barcelona, Spain. This year's conference will focus on "Mapping Out your Localization Strategy to Enhance your Brand Visibility and your Global Returns"  .
Wei-Tai Kwok will be speaking on a panel in tandem with senior executives from Texas Instruments and Hewlett Packard on "Evaluating and Translating Your Web Efforts into Financial Terms to Secure Senior Management Buy-In". The panel will address how to use astute communication tactics, perseverance and internal networking to secure commitment from your senior leadership. They will show how the contribution of local markets to shareholder value can be measured to sell the concept of web globalization internally. This is followed up by a workshop in which Wei-Tai will encourage participants to explore common site development mistakes, discuss current best practices and apply usability concepts to measure the effectiveness of your web site to build a robust internet presence.
