A true global expert, Simon Mathews has lived and worked on four continents and visited more than 50 countries. Playing a lead role in Ion Global's Web Globalization Strategy group, he is responsible for helping companies with their global Internet strategies, specifically identifying, solving and managing web globalization issues.
An accomplished marketer with a strong technical background, Simon has advised some of the world's leading technology, Internet and consumer brands, including LVMH, DisneyWorld, McAfee, Dell, Yahoo!, Nokia and others. Before joining Ion Global in 2000, Simon held management positions at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide both in Hong Kong and San Francisco. He also previously worked for a range of London technology-marketing firms on UK and European-wide assignments.
Simon holds an engineering degree from the University of Southampton in the UK and since moving to California has become a dangerously bad snowboarder.
